Gloria's Lovely Wool Socks
"These beautiful socks were created with brittany size 1 dp needle. The yarnis a hand-dyed superwash wool with nylon blend from Lorna's Laces( www.lornaslaces.net). The pattern comes from the Stiches of Violet blog.I love your needles, they are the only type I buy new, because of yourguarantee and the fact that you harvest sustainably.
Thank you!"

Fun Striped Wool Socks
Cori made her first pair of socks using Brittany size 3 (5 inch) doublepoints. She made these wonderful socks with Lion Brand Magic Stripes Superwash wool.

Cori says, "They were a blast to knit, and SO very warm! I was very happy and very proud when I finally got to wear them . . . unfortunately, it was too warm for them by the time they were finished, so it took till that winter for me to REALLY break them in."

Cori Pierson, Windsor, CT

Christmas Stockings
"Here are my Christmas Stockings knit with Brittany size 9 doublepoints. Iused my bits and pieces of Rowan Yorkshire Tweed dk (discontinued) which Ipurchased at the Mendocino Yarn Shop, but any worsted weight held doubleor chunky weight used singly will do. I just cast on 48 stitches and wentthrough a standard top down sock plan. The foot, of course, is stubby. Themeasurements are about 7 inches wide and 18 inches long. I lined them withflannel. I would recommend Nashua Chunky or Cascade 220 held double.Knitting these stockings with your Brittany doublepoints was a pleasure!"

Scarf and Wristlets
Here is Michri wearing a scarf and wristlets she made with size 19 (10 inch) needles. She used very soft and warm baby alpaca yarn bought from the Mendocino Yarn Shop.

Mohair and Ribbon Scarf
"I made this scarf by knitting three types of yarn together: a thick mohair, a thin blue wool, and a beautiful hand-dyed silk ribbon. I used Brittany size 11 needles."
